Safety & Industrial Hygiene Expert

With over 46 years in the safety industry, Chris brings extensive experience in workplace health and industrial hygiene. She began her career in the United States Air Force, where she spent 21 years specializing in industrial hygiene and radiation safety. After retiring from the military, she continued her mission in workplace safety by joining the Nebraska Safety Council, where she spent nearly 16 years as a trainer, including instructing courses for the National Safety Council’s Advanced Safety Certificate.

Chris has held a variety of leadership roles, including serving as an Industrial Hygienist for Nebco, Inc., Director of Program Development and Training in Iowa, and Director of the OTI Education Center at Red Rocks Community College. Her expertise has taken her across multiple states, allowing her to develop and implement comprehensive safety programs for organizations in various industries. She also served as a subject matter expert and trainer for Compliance Solutions Occupational Trainers in Denver, CO.

Now back in Nebraska, Chris is part of the National Safety Council – Nebraska Chapter, where she continues to train, consult, and provide industrial hygiene services for businesses across the state. With a wealth of knowledge and a passion for workplace safety, she remains dedicated to helping companies create safer, healthier work environments.
